I wish I had gotten to know you better, too, Leigh! Funny, I definitely saw you as a music person, but I saw you more of a literature-type person (or a poet that I know you are) than a math person! But maybe that's because we were never in math class together.

If you (or Will) like(s) Cradle to Cradle, Hawken's Natural Capitalism and Esty and Winston's Green to Gold are good related reads, too.

Oh, since you have kids, I'm sure you have patience, Leigh, but I bet cuff links aren't a priority!

:) it's too bad I didn't get to know you better in high school, it's seems like so much of what you write is exactly how I think about things too, it's so weird to read my own thoughts and ideas on someone else's blog! :) Of course, I don't have the technical or engineering expertise like you, but I love math (even if I'm not that great at calculus) I did major in music theory, which is about as mathematical as you can get in music. :) Plus, the diagramming sentences thing ... :)

I've also had to look up diagrams like that to figure out which part to buy for our vacuum cleaner and I ordered it and it worked! That was scary.

I've seen that "level" cufflink in a mag before and loved it, but agree, I wouldn't want to wear it myself.

Will loves that book "Cradle to Cradle" also!

sorry... a bunch of random thoughts I had while reading :)

Great job on the cuff link! I don't think I'd have the patience for that, but it looks fun. :)
